Goodman, Ken and Yetta

Ken and Yetta Goodman are internationally known for their research on literacy and language acquisition, an intellectual journey they began more than forty-five years ago. Both are advocates of "whole language" and have been engaged in numerous public conversations about education policy, learning styles, and the intersection of education and social justice. Both Ken and Yetta are emeritus faculty from the University of Arizona College of Education--Yetta is also the College's sole Regents Professor.
